Xiaomi SU7 is launched, confirms 50,000 firm orders within the first half an hour

Add as a preferred source on Google Xiaomi SU7 has been launched in the Chinese and the brand announced that it has already received 50,000 firm orders within the first half an hour after opening the order books. The SU7 arrives in three variants:

• Xiaomi SU7 Standard - CNY 215900 (USD 29887)
• Xiaomi SU7 Pro - CNY 245900 (USD 34040)
• Xiaomi SU7 Max - CNY 299900 (USD 41516)

These price points show that the SU7 Standard is CNY 30000 cheaper than the entry-level version of the Tesla Model 3 in China. It is the SU7 Pro that costs as much as the M3 in the local market. The Standard and Max versions will be first delivered from the end of April. The Pro version deliveries will commence at the end of May. There's also a Xiaomi Su7 Founders Editions which will be available in 5000 units only with delivery beginning on April 3.

Xiaomi SU7 Standard packs a 73.6 kWh LFP blade battery by BYD with a CLTC range of 700 km. It has a 400V platform enabling 350 kilometers of range on a 15-minute charge. The variant is driven by a single rear-mounted electric motor with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 5.28 seconds.

Xiaomi SU7 Pro features a 94.3 kWh LFP Shenxing battery by CATL with a CLTC range of 830 km. This version is also based on a 400V platform and an RWD drive with a single electric motor on the rear axle. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

Xiaomi SU7 Max is underpinned by a 101 kWh Qilin battery by CATL with a CLTC range of 800 km. It is based on an 800V platform enabling 510 kilometers of range on a 15-minute charge. This version features two electric motors in an AWD propulsion system and can spring from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 s.

The SU7 has two driving systems - Xiaomi Pilot Pro and Xiaomi Pilot Max. The Pro has a single NVIDIA Drive Orin chip. It powers the Standard version of the model. The Xiaomi Pilot Max has two chips and an additional LiDAR. It powers the Pro and Max versions of the vehicle.
