Factorial Energy establishes its European office in Germany

Factorial Energy, an industry leader in the development of solid-state battery technology for use in electric vehicles, today announced the establishment of a European office in Germany. As part of its presence in Europe, Factorial will be able to better serve its partners and customers in the automotive industry.

Factorial has signed joint development agreements with Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Hyundai. With this, Factorial is pursuing the goal of accelerating the production of solid-state battery technology. From the company's point of view, this offers greater safety and energy density than current lithium-ion battery technology.

The new location allows the company to continue to build strategic relationships and work closely with key European suppliers and manufacturing partners. The expansion will also provide access to the region's extensive automotive expertise, as well as renowned universities and facilities for future team building to support customer validation and testing.
