The Lincoln Star concept all-electric SUV is unveiled
21 April 2022, 03:01:15

The concept vehicle has several noteworthy features. Lights are a big thing and Lincoln uses them in multiple ways on the inside and outside. In the front where a standard grille should be, there's an area with hundreds of lit Lincoln-logo-like shapes. Above it, there's a light bar that goes along the fenders and fades into black when reaches the hood. The hood is see-through, actually. You can also slide the front like a drawer while the hood retracts up and back. Again, this is accompanied by various lights unveiling enough space for luggage.
The black roof using electrochromic glass is surrounded by a light strip and arched LED strips also adorn the top of each wheel opening. The taillights are also collected in a light bar that curves down on the sides combining a solid light strip with a mesh-like one. On the renders, you can also see the same light pattern of Lincoln-logo-like shapes decorating the hatch as well. The hatch can fold down.
The suicide doors are another noteworthy feature of the Lincoln Star concept. The interior on the front is dominated by a huge curved coast-to-coast horizontal screen that spans over almost the entire inner width of the vehicle. The front bucket seats have additional screens on their backs for the rear-seat passengers. The steering wheel can be hidden away and the front seats can turn around to form a lounge area with the rear ones. Plenty of conveniences are also provided such as secret storage compartments, a champagne fridge with glasses, etc.
The interior focuses on creating an environment that's in harmony with a person's natural rhythm. Light, sound, and fragrances are used to create different themed environments such as Coastal Morning and Evening Chill.
