Lotus teases its Type 130 hypercar, will be fully unveiled later this year in London

Today British brand Lotus has teased its Type 130 hypercar at the Shanghai International Auto Show 2019. The vehicle is said to be "in advanced stages of development" and is the first all-electric vehicle of the brand. The all-new car will be revealed, together with the full remarkable details and specification of this technical tour de force, in London, the birthplace of Lotus, later this year. Lotus is currently seeing a revival after China-based Geely became its parent company. CEO Phil Popham said: "Type 130 will be the most dynamically accomplished Lotus in our history. It marks a turning point for our brand and is a showcase of what we are capable of and what is to come from Lotus."
