LG Electronics intensifies its EV motors productionLG Electronics intensifies its EV motors production and some of its production sites will remain open even during the Lunar Nea Year festivities such as the factory in Incheon, 40 km west of Seoul. At the end of December 2020, LG and Magna announced a joint venture (JV) to manufacture e-motors, inverters and onboard chargers. The new company was tentatively called LG Magna e-Powertrain. LG has a prior experience in the development of electric vehicle components most notably for the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Jaguar I-PACE. Its cooperation with Magna will bring further strength in the EV components business.Source
