This isn't just Ferrari's first full-electric vehicle - it's a declaration of intent, a fusion of 78 years of racing heritage with cutting-edge electric innovation. Designed entirely in-house, the Elettrica redefines what performance means in the electric age.

At its core, the Elettrica is engineered for pure power and precision. The front axle delivers 210 kW with an astonishing 93% efficiency and a power density of 3.23 kW/kg. Ferrari's proprietary disconnect system allows seamless transitions to rear-wheel drive, optimizing energy use without compromising thrill. Each of the four independent electric motors shares an advanced architecture, offering razor-sharp responsiveness and control at every wheel. These motors feature a Halbach array rotor configuration - a Formula 1 innovation now brought to road cars for the first time - maximizing torque density while reducing weight.

The chassis is a sculptural achievement in itself. It's the first Ferrari frame to incorporate 75% recycled aluminum, reflecting a commitment to sustainability without sacrificing structural integrity. The 880V battery pack, assembled entirely in Maranello, delivers 195 Wh/kg energy density and is strategically positioned to maintain a low central mass for optimal balance. Eighty-five percent of the modules are integrated into the floor between the axles, with the remaining 15% tucked beneath the rear seats. This configuration not only enhances side-impact protection but also allows for easy removal and repair without compromising the chassis.

Battery performance is nothing short of race-ready. Capable of absorbing up to half a megawatt of power, the Elettrica delivers consistent performance lap after lap, thanks to advanced cell chemistry and evolved thermal management. The rear axle, featuring Ferrari's first separate sub-frame, uses the largest single-piece hollow casting in the brand's history to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness while maintaining rigidity. Even the bushings are tuned to meet strict NVH targets, ensuring that comfort and cornering prowess coexist.

Control is where the Elettrica truly shines. A ball screw with 20% higher pitch absorbs vertical impacts more effectively, while Ferrari's third-generation active suspension system balances sports car comfort with track-ready handling. The integrated inverter powers both front motors with surgical precision, and the rear e-axle's dual motors deliver seamless acceleration and pinpoint control.

In terms of performance, the numbers speak for themselves. The Elettrica rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, reaches a top speed of 310 km/h, and boasts over 1000 cv in boost mode. With a range exceeding 530 km, it's not just fast - it's enduring.

The unveiling of the new Electric Ferrari will continue in early 2026 with a preview of the look and feel of the interior design concepts. A few months later, in spring next year, the journey will culminate with the World Premiere, where this harmonious blend of technology and design will be revealed.
