BMW i3s Edition RoadStyle is announced, less than 1000 units will be produced worldwideBMW has announced two exclusive editions to its BMW i lineup of electric and PHEV vehicles - the 2020 BMW i3s Edition RoadStyle and the 2020 BMW i8 Ultimate Sophisto Edition. The first is an all-electric vehicle, while the second is a PHEV available in Coupe and Roadster models. As we're interested in pure electric vehicles only, we will mention i3s special edition here and more information about the PHEV model can be found in the official press release (check the source link below).

The 2020 BMW i3s Edition RoadStyle will be produced in just under 1000 units worldwide. It adds Fluid Black exterior paint with E-Copper finishing touches to the kidney grille inlays, front bumper air deflectors and side skirt accents. and features that have not been available before. It is adorned with 20-inch double-spoke light-alloy wheels with a Jet Black finish.

The Carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) cabin is very lightweight allowing for a total curb weight of 3,040 lbs. The interior employs recycled plastics, renewable raw materials and natural fibers. Over 80% of the surfaces visible to the passengers are made from recycled materials or renewable resources. The seats are covered with a Dalbergia Brown natural leather paired with a Dark Oak matt fine-wood trim. The exclusive are headrests embroidered with "Edition RoadStyle".

The 2020 BMW i3s Edition RoadStyle is a 4-door, 4-seater with an AC Synchronous eDrive motor producing 181 hp power at 4,100 rpm and 199 lb-ft of torque from 0 rpm. A 120 Ah / 42.2 kWh battery allows for a range of up to 153 miles and a 0 to 60 mph sprint of 6.8 seconds. The top speed is limited to 99 mph and the combined power consumption is estimated to be 112 MPGe. Source
