Tesla will be capable to offer a vehicle with a 400-mile range

Tesla will be capable to offer a vehicle with a 400-mile rangeThe Tesla Shareholders Meeting began with a few data and sliders that unveil the company's prevailing over the competition in terms of both competence, capabilities and market results. It was noted that Model 3 offers the best in class performance, outsells all competitors combined and has been the highest revenue car in the US for the past 4 quarters. It is also the most energy-efficient EV in the world, followed by Model S, Model Y, Model X, Mercedes EQC, Jaguar I-Pace and Audi e-tron. Strangely enough, the Hyundai Kona Electric is missing from the list.

Another point of focus demonstrating Tesla's prevalence has been range. Model S and Model X offer a record-breaking range, the highest of which belongs to the Model S Long Range model which has a 370-mile range (EPA). This means that you can get from Bay Area to LA on a single charge. The highest range of the Model X Long Range is 325 miles (EPA). Moreover, the range of Tesla vehicles has not been beaten by any of the competition since 2012. Model Y will enter volume production in 2020 and will offer a range of 300 miles.

Closing this topic, Elon Musk said: "It will not be long before we have a 400-mile range car." Whether this has been said only to demonstrate that Tesla builds upon its advantages or it will, indeed, will launch such a car (Model S/Model X revamping highly expected) is about to be seen. Here are the current specifications of all Tesla models, except for the Model S and Model X with the new motors combo:
