The SAIC MAXUS eTerron 9 has become the world's first medium-to-large Chinese brand pure electric pickup truck exported overseas and it is also the first mass-produced pure electric pickup in Europe. It made its European debut at the Hannover Motor Show in Germany.

The SAIC MAXUS eTerron 9 is the first 4x4 four-wheel drive pickup truck built on a dedicated electric platform in Europe, with a four-wheel drive range of up to 605 km, setting a record in both the Chinese and European markets. It is the only one in its class equipped with air suspension to reduce body roll and pitch and improve handling stability. The air suspension can also automatically adjust the body height according to the terrain to meet the needs of different scenarios such as reducing wind resistance, facilitating transportation, and improving passability. Coupled with the smart four-wheel drive system, it can adapt to more than 400 driving scenarios. At the same time, the comprehensive peak power of the dual permanent magnet synchronous motor reaches 325 kW, bringing a 5.8-second zero-hundred acceleration performance experience.

In addition, it is also a pickup truck with an open rear wall, which enables the connection between the rear bucket and the passenger compartment, greatly enhancing the practicality and playability of the pickup truck outdoors. Inheriting the "Five-Star Maxus" safety gene, SAIC MAXUS dominates the Euro NCAP safety test and rating with high scores for light commercial vehicles and has began to build its products according to the global five-star standard as early as 2017.
