MINI USA took to Climate Week in New York City to unveil its all-new 2025 MINI Countryman SE ALL4. It makes its first presence on American shores at a special panel called Driving Forward: The Transforming of Future Mobility hosted by URBAN-X, the leading urban technology startup platform by MINI, at Newlab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. URBAN-X, which recently welcomed its 13th cohort of early-stage startups, is committed to fostering more sustainable, livable, and resilient cities by nurturing startups that offer impactful climate technology solutions. In the U.S., this all-electric vehicle will go on sale in a year's time - in the fall of 2024.

The MINI Countryman SE ALL4 made its debut earlier this month at IAA Mobility in Munich, Germany. In Europe, it was announced with a 230 kW / 313 hp electric motor delivering 494 Nm of torque, a 66.45 kWh battery for 433 km / 269 mi of range, a top speed of 180 km/h, and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 5.6 s.

MINI Countryman SE ALL4 measures 4,433 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width, and 1,656 mm in height. Thanks to the wheelbase, which has been increased to 2,692 mm, comfort has been further increased. In addition, the new design of the MINI Countryman embraces improved aerodynamics. The result is an impressive cd value of 0.26 compared to 0.31 in the predecessor model. The modern exterior design is supported by clear-cut surfaces, a new octagonal front grille, a slightly curved roof with a seamless transition to the newly designed C-pillar in a trim-specific shape, and the characteristic circumferential Black Band.

The dashboard in the new MINI Countryman SE ALL4 works entirely without an additional display behind the steering wheel: all relevant content is projected onto the optional head-up display. This reduction to the essentials opens up the view to the front, shaping the spacious interior with cleverly designed, high-quality components. The optional panoramic glass roof makes the interior particularly bright and friendly, with a front half that can be opened. The sports seats come as standard with an optional electric adjustment with memory. With the rear seat folded down, even bulky items can be easily transported in the 460-litre to 1,450-litre luggage compartment.

The central OLED display with a diameter of 240 mm / 9.4 inches sets a new benchmark with its high resolution and, for the first time, its round shape. The center icon is the defining feature of the interior, extending the classic round instrument of the predecessor model with the addition of a completely new feel and versatile functions. Thanks to the MINI Operating System 9, all vehicle functions can be operated intuitively via touch or voice via the newly developed MINI voice assistant. Eight different Experience Modes breathe life into the interior, where a combination of color patterns mesh with sound and light projections on the dashboard.

In addition to the familiar Automatic Active Cruise Control, the Steering and Lane Assistant support lateral guidance as part of the optional Driving Assistant Plus package. Convenient and cooperative steering helps the driver stay on track. The comprehensive Driving Assistant Professional option package includes a new function that helps the driver take the right exit based on semi-automated Level 2 driving. For the first time, the MINI Countryman also offers semi-automated driving on motorway-like routes.
