Xiaomi YU7 once again leads medium and large SUV sales

Xiaomi Auto has announced that the Xiaomi YU7 continued its strong momentum in February 2026, taking the top spot in retail sales among medium and large SUVs for the sixth month in a row. The model sold 20,196 units during the month, placing it not only first in its segment but also among the top three passenger vehicles nationwide.

Since its launch in August 2025, the YU7 has quickly become one of the most talked‑about SUVs in China. In January 2026, it even topped the sales charts across all passenger car categories with 37,869 units sold. In just half a year, cumulative deliveries have surpassed 200,000 units.

The YU7’s appeal comes from its combination of size, range, and pricing. It features a 3000 mm wheelbase (about 118 inches), offering generous cabin space. Its rated driving range reaches 830 km (about 516 miles), making it suitable for long‑distance travel. The starting price is 253,500 yuan (approximately USD 35,000), positioning it competitively for families seeking a high‑end SUV without entering luxury‑brand pricing.
