Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ can now be ordered

Prospective buyers can now order the new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ with WLTP electric range of 529–586 km at prices starting at 152,546.10 euros from the authorized dealers. The luxury saloon with a power output of up to 560 kW has been redesigned and further developed in Affalterbach in all performance-relevant areas. It impresses with brand-specific features in all areas where the customer experiences it directly: from the drive system with two AMG-specific electric motors to the exterior and interior design and the emotionally appealing vehicle sound.

The standard equipment includes, among other things, the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, active rear-axle steering and the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with Adaptive Damping System. The Hyperscreen and DIGITAL LIGHT are also on board as standard.

With the AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ brings a new, powerfully sonorous sound to electric driving. The sound system creates a unique sound experience with the help of special speakers, bass actuator and a sound generator. And it comes in two flavours: "Authentic" or "Performance" if desired. This exclusive AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE is generated inside and out with a tonality and intensity to match the current driving status, the selected driving mode or the driver's wishes. The steering wheel buttons on the AMG Performance steering wheel can be used to preselect the "Balanced", "Sport" or "Powerful" sound characteristics.

In the first three years after the purchase of an EQS 53 4MATIC+, there is no basic fee for the Mercedes me Charge service and thus Green Charging: With Mercedes me Charge, customers can always charge sustainably at any public charging station in Europe. Guarantees of origin ensure that as much green electricity from renewable energies is fed into the grid as is drawn via Mercedes me Charge. Another advantage is IONITY Unlimited: All European AMG EQS customers can use the IONITY fast charging network free of charge for one year via Mercedes me Charge. They also benefit from an integrated payment function with simple billing.

Numerous options allow prospective customers to equip the all-electric sports saloon very individually (excerpt):

• The AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package temporarily delivers more power and torque: 560 kW instead of 484 kW and 1.020 Nm instead of 950 Nm. The sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h is then only 3.4 seconds instead of 3.8 seconds. However, the package not only includes driving dynamics extras such as the boost for the RACE START and the increase in top speed from 220 km/h to 250 km/h. The highly emotionally appealing AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE "Performance" is also included. The intensity of the unmistakable sound experience depends on the current driving status and the selected driving mode. Event sounds specially composed for the "Performance" soundscape - for charging or infotainment functions - round off the special AMG experience.
• The AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system (front axle) guarantees short braking distances, precise control and maximum endurance even under extreme conditions. Compared with the standard brake, it is characterized by a lower weight and thus increases agility through lower unsprung masses on the suspension. The generously dimensioned ceramic brake discs (440 x 40 mm) on the front axle have a composite design and are connected axially in a floating manner to an aluminium pot. The bronze-painted brake callipers set this option apart from afar, including visually.
• AMG TRACK PACE, the virtual race engineer, is also available on request: The software is part of the MBUX infotainment system and is designed for driving on a race track. It permanently records more than 80 vehicle-specific data (e.g. speed, acceleration). On top of this, lap and sector times are displayed, as well as the respective difference from a reference time. Because specific display elements are shown in green or red, drivers are able to see at a glance without reading numbers whether they are currently faster or slower than the best time. AMG TRACK PACE is also available as on-demand equipment for subsequent over-the-air activation in the vehicle.
• The AMG Night Package makes the exterior look even more expressive. To this end, numerous features sport a black or black chrome finish. Depending on the paintwork, this creates contrasts or flowing transitions.
• Exterior mirror housings in high-gloss black, painted in body colour in conjunction with black non-metallic paintwork
• Mirror base in black
• Beltline and window line trim strips in black
• Heat-insulating dark-tinted glass from the B-pillar
• AMG-specific side skirts with door trim strips in black chrome
• Trim parts on A-Wing and front splitter as well as on the flics and fins at the air intakes left and right in black chrome
• AMG specific trim piece on the rear apron with 3 louvres left and right in black chrome.
