Huawei enters the EV market with its own all-in-one electric drive system - DriveOneHuawei is the largest smartphone producer in China with 45% market share and the second-largest in the world with 14% global market share, following Samsung which has 22% share in the global smartphone market.

On the other hand, it brings AI into the electric drive system to achieve end-cloud collaboration and unified control.

Huawei has more than 30 years of power electronics technology experience in the ICT field. Not only that, but Zhou Taoyuan, President of Huawei's Digital Energy Product Line, also mentioned: "Huawei will integrate and innovate leading digital technologies such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. In the fields of electric drive control, battery safety, and three-electric fault prediction of electric vehicles, we will create innovative smart electric solutions that integrate minimalism, safety and reliability, excellent experience, and AI cloud intelligence to help auto companies build good cars and accelerate the development of industrial electrification."

Specifically, DriveONE can contribute to the minimal layout of the vehicle power domain, saving 220 mm in Z direction, reducing 2 mounting brackets, shortening wiring harness by 5m, reducing 3 connectors, and reducing water nozzles and water pipes by 2. As the industry's first high-voltage all-in-one electric drive system, this system can meet the 2C fast charging experience and has a battery life of 200km in 10 minutes. Compared with previous solutions, the system has a higher efficiency (NEDC efficiency 89%), higher accuracy (SOC detection accuracy ┬▒3%), less energy consumption, and improved endurance. At the same time, it is denser, and the power density can reach 2.1kw/kg. In addition, the system has excellent performance under extreme conditions (continuously high speed 180km/h, 0-100km/h repeated acceleration 20 times), and also achieves low noise (NVH 78 dB) and low radiation (EMC CLASS 4), creating quiet and comfortable experience.

Through the electric digital development platform-PDDP and with AI, the system development efficiency has increased by 10%. In addition, from the perspective of the OTA upgrade function that current car owners are very concerned about, the system adopts a centralized flat OTA architecture, which simplifies the path and reduces the version complexity while ensuring performance improvement, shortening the upgrade time from 10 minutes to 30 seconds. On this basis, the system also protects the security of OTA upgrades in an all-round way through three-level and multi-level strict control.
