Cadillac LYRIQ show car unveiledCadillac LYRIQ is "a dynamic, modern and fully electric luxury crossover" and the brand's first BEV. "Led by LYRIQ, Cadillac will redefine American luxury over the next decade with a new portfolio of transformative EVs," said Steve Carlisle, executive vice president and president, GM North America. "We will deliver experiences that engage the senses, anticipate desires and enable our customers to go on extraordinary journeys."

The Cadillac LYRIQ is already known to be based on GM's new modular platform and will be powered by the company's Ultium Battery. It will offer various range and performance options. GM specifies a range beyond 300 miles as well as RWD and AWD configurations. It also plans to include DC fast charging rates over 150 kW and Level 2 charging rates up to 19 kW. The LYRIQ will arrive with the latest version of Super Cruise, self-parking feature, dual-plane augmented reality-enhanced head-up display, a 33-inch LED display the spans the entire viewing area of the driver, etc. At launch, LYRIQ will offer a 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system.
