Uber and EVgo have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to accelerate the electrification of rideshare across the US It has been signed during Climate Week at an event at the Midway in San Francisco. The first phase of the MOU is about supporting Uber driver-partners who currently drive electric vehicles through education and access to the EVgo charging network. The two parties will also evaluate places where more fast charging is need. They will also work on optimizing the charging behaviour and on developing pilot programs for Uber driver-partners to make the switch to an EV easier.Source
