Lancia Pu+Ra HPE - the first vehicle of the new Lancia era - goes officialStellantis unveiled the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE - the brand's manifesto for the next 10 years, in terms of timeless design, feel-good factor, durability, electrification, and technology. A 100% electric car with targeted autonomy of more than 700 km, the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is the first car inspired by the world of furniture, thanks to the collaboration with Cassina, for a typically Italian "home feeling" experience. It is also the first car equipped with the S.A.L.A. which will be found on the new Ypsilon. Thanks to S.A.L.A., Lancia will be the first Stellantis brand to adopt Chameleon and TAPE (Tailored Predictive Experience) technologies, which centralize the audio, air conditioning, and lighting functions, allowing the environment inside the car to be adapted. car at the touch of a button or by the sound of your voice.

Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is the natural evolution of Lancia Pu+Ra Zero, taking on many characteristics of the three-dimensional sculpture unveiled last November. The new Lancia concept car fully embodies the principles of the brand's new design language - pure and radical, hence the "Pu+Ra" designation. HPE stands for High-Performance Electric, for a car that is both eco-sustainable, exciting, and evolved. The color of the concept is called Progressive Green referring to the progressive vision of the future of the brand and its customers, and 'green' for its value in terms of sustainability. The bluish-green color - with a warm golden hue, produced using liquid metal with latest-generation pigments - pays homage to the historic and timeless Lancia Flaminia Azzurro Vincennes.

The constant dialogue between the past and the future is expressed in the flowing side lines that descend towards the rear of the car, reminiscent of the Aurelia and the Flaminia with a clean design, based on aerodynamics, durability, and fluidity. The side badges feature the new Lancia logo, an expression of the brand's new visual identity. It takes up all the historical elements of the crest, reinterpreting them with a touch of modernity, to express innovation, top-of-the-range, and Italian eclecticism.

The dialogue between the past and the future can also be found at the rear, where we find the iconic round lights, inspired by the most brutal and radical spirit of the brand, while a clear reference is made to the legendary Lancia Stratos, with the new iconic Lancia lettering placed between the lights. The front reinterprets Lancia's historic grille, now carried forward by three rays of light that make it iconic, memorable, and visible from afar. Above the chalice (the historic grille) stands out the new Lancia script, made with an original typeface inspired by the world of fashion.

The innovative circular roof offers a wide panoramic view, with a clear reference to the architectural elements, so characteristic of Lancia's new stylistic language. The rear window is also reminiscent of the Lancia of the 70s, the Beta HPE, with enveloping horizontal lines that revisit the famous structure of the awning, with a touch of modernity. The large windows emphasize natural light, to recall the concept of "home feeling".

The interior of the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is fully consistent with the brand's new design language, pure and radical, thanks to the use of iconic and simple shapes that deviate from the typical automotive language. Inside the concept car, an eclectic space inspired by interior design, the atmosphere of Italian houses, and flowing architecture with great attention to detail in an overall composition of pure forms. The inspiration of Italian furniture is evident in the round carpet and in the front seats, inspired by the Cassina armchairs and treated as two iconic, unique, and independent armchairs, with unique proportions and a bold colored treatment.

The pure geometric shapes are also expressed in the new round tables, in the central console and even in the dashboard, which subverts the automotive approach and is based on a single iconic piece of round glass, crossed by clear cuts. Large windows help flood the cabin with natural light. The result is the creation of a welcoming environment, a living space that conveys the typical feeling of a warm Italian home. The blinds reconnect with the Lancia Beta HPE icon and the world of architecture, projecting natural lights and shade into the passenger compartment, while in the central part they become a luminous technological element that interacts with S.A.L.A. and its functions.

Sustainability by Lancia is sustainability with style, Sustylenability, a word made up of "sustainability" and "style". The Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is in fact the first full expression of this "Sustainability by Lancia", a 100% electric manifesto that defines the brand's vision for the next 10 years, where each element reflects the idea of " elegant and simultaneously durable "home feeling" in the cabin, in perfect Lancia style. Thanks to partnerships with excellent Made in Italy brands, sustainable materials have been used in the car's refined interior, in line with the values set out in Lancia's ten-year strategic plan, with 70% of tactile surfaces made with materials eco-sustainable. Four values have guided the brand on the path of sustainability: the reinterpretation of tradition, the Italian spirit, eclecticism, and the "home feeling".

In line with Stellantis' electrification strategy, Lancia will launch the New Ypsilon in 2024, in hybrid and electric versions, and from 2026, only 100% electric cars will be marketed, and from 2028, concomitantly with the arrival of the new Delta, the brand will exclusively sell electric models. Made with technological modules (engine, battery, suspension, brakes, etc.) taken from the New Ypsilon, the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE concept car is the brand's manifesto for the next 10 years, offering a vision of the cars of the future.
