2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB announced for the USA market, available in three trim levels

24 August 2023, 05:25:34

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB announced for the USA market, available in three trim levels2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB has been unveiled today featuring refreshed design and features. With a newly designed black panel surface with its star pattern at the front, the EQB visually catches up with its electric model siblings. A light band connects the daytime running lights of the headlights while a new bumper emphasizes the broad effect of the vehicle front. The designers have also changed the insides of the taillights. The innovations in the interior include the current-generation steering wheel with touch control panels.

As an optional seven-seater, the EQB has room for a wide variety of families and many different transport requirements. The two seats in row three can be used by people up to 5.4 ft. tall or fit child seats. The load volume of 17.4 to 60.4 cu-ft. or 16.4 to 57.2 cu-ft. (for five- and seven-seaters respectively) has the qualities of a mid-size wagon. The backrests of the seats in the second row can be adjusted in several stages as standard, and this row can be moved 5.5 inches lengthwise as an option. This allows the luggage compartment to be enlarged in various steps by up to 6.7 cu-ft. and used in a variety of ways.

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB offers easier and more convenient charging with Plug & Charge. When the charging cable is plugged in, the charging process starts automatically and customers do not need to additionally authenticate themselves. The vehicle and charging station communicate directly via the charging cable.

Another area of upgrade is the audio department. Different sound worlds that allow individual acoustic setups are familiar from the other all-electric models from Mercedes-Benz. Two Sound Experiences are now available for the EQB in conjunction with the optional Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos. To add an additional level of personalization, two additional Sound Experiences can be purchased and activated online via the Mercedes me store (if equipped with the optional Burmester surround sound system).

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB also features an updated generation of MBUX. The appearance of the displays can be customized with three display styles (subtle/sporty/classic) and three modes (navigation/assistance/service). As part of the slightly changed offer logic, the central display is part of the standard equipment. The presentation of the charging features within MBUX has been improved as well. By activating online services in the Mercedes me connect app, the intelligent voice assistant becomes even more capable of dialogue and learning.

Improved sensor technology includes a new mono-multipurpose camera and a new backup camera. The optional Driving Assistance package contains improved functions in detail. For example, Active Lane Keeping Assist now works more comfortably with steering intervention instead of ESP.

The 2024 EQB for the USA markets includes three trim levels:
