Huawei launches the MH5000 5G chip for the automotive industry

In January 2019, Huawei launched the Balong 5000 5G multimode terminal chip. Based on this chip, the company has developed the world's first 5G car module dubbed MH5000. It integrates C-V2X technology for future smart cars. Huawei's vehicle C-V2X solution has successfully completed urban open road testing in various test areas in Wuxi, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiong'an, Hainan, Fuyang and Liuzhou. The integrated verification of the protocol stack and application, the professional vehicle communication capability has been highly recognized by the industry. The MH5000 will be commercially available in the second half of 2019.
