FCA will set up a Battery Hub at the Mirafiori complex starting in early 2020In early 2020, FCA will start preparing a Battery Hub at the Mirafiori complex in Turin. This battery assembly complex will supply batteries to the new generations of fully electric FCA models. The assembly process will be aided by an expert in the field - Comau. Training areas, quality control and testing areas are also included in the project. The initial investment in place will be approximately €50 million. In H2 2020, FCA will start building the new electric-powered Fiat 500 at the Mirafiori complex. The 100% electric Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio will also be produced there.Source
