World Cаr jurors enjoy a private peak of the all-electric Jaguar XJ

The World Car of the Year, World Green Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year awards have been won by Jaguar I-Pace earlier. Now, Jaguar has invited the World Car jurors to preview some of the company's future vehicles at its Coventry design studios. Two of the main vehicles of interest have been the hybrid J-Pace crossover and the all-electric Jaguar XJ. It is expected that both models will be based on Jaguar Land Rover's new Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) that will be equally suitable for various drivetrains. Unfortunately, no specific details for the electric XJ have been unveiled. Rumour says it, it will have a 100 kWh battery pack and four 200 hp electric motors. There are no data about when the XJ EV will be unveiled but we're sure Jaguar will again remind about it by the year's end. The photo on top is of the current 2019 Jaguar XJ with ICE.Source
