Mitsubishi's "Challenge 2025" mid-term business plan includes the launch of five xEVsMitshubishi has announced its mid-term business plan dubbed "Challenge 2025". It is part of its long-term road map, which includes leaving out ICE vehicles by 2030 and producing mainly BEVs by 2035. The "Challenge 2025" plan is focused on expanding the product mix of the brand with HEV, PHEV, and BEV models. Over the next five years, Mitshubishi will roll out 16 models. Of those, 9 will be xEV models. The BEVs will be four - a pickup truck, a two-row SUV, and two BEVs made under the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. The plan also includes an investment of 210 billion yen by 2030 for 15 GWh of battery procurement.
